ABOUT MATTHEW LESKOVAR

Born and raised in West Michigan, Matt Leskovar has always had a passion for helping people make confident, informed decisions with their money. After earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Grand Valley State University in 2007, Matt began his career in Houston, Texas, where he became a licensed CPA, passed the CFP® exam, and married his wife, Christina.

In 2012, Matt returned to West Michigan and joined Beene Garter (now Doeren Mayhew), where he spent 12 years refining his expertise in financial planning, investment management, and individual tax strategies. In 2025, he founded Leskovar Financial to offer a more personal and comprehensive approach to wealth planning.

As a licensed CPA and CFP® professional, Matt partners with clients at every stage of life, from young professionals navigating student loans and new careers, to parents planning for education, to individuals preparing for retirement or navigating major life changes like career transitions and loss. With practical guidance and a compassionate approach, Matt brings clarity and confidence to life’s most important financial decisions.

Matt lives in Rockford with his wife and three boys. He’s a member of Calvary Church in Grand Rapids and an active member of the AICPA and Financial Planning Association. Outside the office, Matt enjoys time with family, being outdoors, working out, and cheering on his beloved Detroit Lions.
